Updates to Professional Development, Volunteer, and Event pages

There are several updates on the website this week - read on for more details!

We discovered a new source of information this weekend for those of you who have been asking for opportunities to get girls more interested in science and engineering. The website for the Connect a Million Minds initiative includes a listing of of STEM events that you can search by zip code. While not geared specifically towards girls, volunteering at any of these events will show boys that there are many successful women engineers out there! You can also visit our Volunteer/Outreach page for more information.

There are two Girl Scout events in April - one is on April 2 at NCSU and the other is on April 9 at Duke University. The calendar on the Events page has been updated to reflect that these are two different events. Let us know if you'd like to help with either one!
